Mountain Sports Ltd. is looking for an experienced bike mechanic to work part-time in our bike repair department. Come down to MSL and apply in person. We're open Monday — Friday from 10 — 7, Saturday 10 — 6, and Sunday 1 — 5. (No phone calls, please.)

Ride for Jim transcontinental biking event raises funds for cancer
Pediatrician Doug Gardner will embark on a transcontinental bike ride, traveling from the coast of Oregon to Yorktown, VA, on June 4, 2010. His trip, in memory of a friend who died from cancer, will raise funds to support Massey Cancer Center at the Medical College of Virginia. Want to join in? Heritage Kayaks

Heritage Kayaks are manufactured using rugged high quality polyethylene construction in all models. Each kayak is rotomolded into a single seamless hull and deck unit in one of several large, high temperature, computer controlled ovens for maximum strength and impact resistance. High quality polyethylene, though more expensive than lesser plastics, has been selected for its tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, impact damage and tearing as well as resistance to distortion from heat.
